With Oxfam’s Batley operation handling donations at significant scale, efficient storage is essential. The challenge was to create a high capacity solution that made the most of the available warehouse space while keeping stock organised and accessible.
Working with Used Racking UK, we supplied and installed a used Redirack pallet racking system, creating storage capacity for an impressive 144,000 books.
The Solution
A racking system built around the space
The installation features a 3.5m high, 1.1m deep used Redirack pallet racking system, configured to maximise the available storage area. Mesh decking was fitted across every level, creating secure and practical surfaces for storing the books.
The system provides a flexible storage setup that can accommodate a substantial volume of stock while keeping each level easily accessible to the Oxfam team.
